Google Analytics 4
- Events
- Explorations
- Attribution
GA4 is a different data model, not a redesign. Once events and parameters make sense, the rest of the interface stops feeling arbitrary. This track starts with the model, then builds a measurement plan, then teaches the reporting surfaces on top of it.
You configure a property from scratch, define events and key events, build audiences and explorations, and connect the property to Google Ads. We also spend real time on where GA4 disagrees with ad platforms, and how to explain that difference calmly.
The six things this
track is built around
Events, parameters, user properties and the collection limits that quietly shape what you can report on.
Data streams, enhanced measurement, internal traffic, data retention, cross-domain and consent settings.
Deciding what to track before you track it, naming conventions, and a documented plan the whole team can follow.
Defining, importing and validating conversions, and keeping them consistent with the ad platforms.
Funnel, path and segment overlap explorations, custom dimensions, comparisons and useful custom reports.
Default channel groupings, attribution models, data-driven attribution and reconciling GA4 with platform reporting.
The modules, in order
Modules run in sequence because each one assumes the previous one. Experienced specialists usually start partway through, which we agree before the plan is written.
Plus the templates and checklists attached to this track, which stay yours after the training ends.
How GA4 collects and structures data, and what the schema means for the questions you can answer.
Creating a property, streams, enhanced measurement, filters, retention and consent configuration.
Turning business questions into events and parameters, and writing a plan that outlives the person who wrote it.
Custom events, parameters, key events, e-commerce tracking and validation with DebugView.
Standard reports, explorations, audiences, segments and answering a real business question end to end.
Google Ads linking, BigQuery export basics, looker-style dashboards and monthly reporting practice.

Search, Performance Max and Shopping campaigns built the way an account manager actually builds them: structure first, then bidding, then the search terms report.
Facebook and Instagram campaigns from Business Manager setup to creative testing, with honest coverage of what attribution can and cannot tell you.
Tags, triggers, variables and the data layer — including server-side containers, consent mode and a versioning discipline that prevents accidents.
